Long life road marking materials are specialised compounds that give extended life due to their high build and high strength qualities. All of the products offered by Road and Traffic Services have a proven track record on WA roads and internationally.
Thermoplastic
Thermoplastic is the most universally used long life roadmarking system and is used extensively at signalised intersections and other heavy wear sites such as stop and holding lines. It can also be applied as a longitudinal marking and for special applications in the form of profile marking on edge lines. Thermoplastic is rapid setting and cost effective and can be hot applied or laid down as a preformed product.
High Build Paints
Modern high volume solids paints in high film build applications, with large 'Type D' glass beads provide excellent durability and sustained high reflectivity.
Glowline
Road and Traffic Services are exclusive applicators of Glowline. This high durability marking compound improves road safety by providing enhanced night and wet weather visibility. Glowline is water based and vapour permeable and the only MRWA approved product on the market that will bond successfully to concrete and brick surfaces. It is a proven, long life road marking applied extensively to freeway gores, median infill and traffic islands.
